Children are naturally curious about the world. They count stairs, ask "why?", and collect patterns. They want to understand their surroundings, but often lack the tools to "see" them structurally.
Traditional education focuses on "learning to count" (math). I focus on a key 21st-century skill: "learning to see" data.
My Mission
From Observation to Visualization – Through Play.
My program is pure play, but based on the methodology of Strategic Design and Data Storytelling, translated into the language of a 5-year-old.
Instead of teaching dry arithmetic, I help them create . physical, tangible charts. We don't sit in front of computers. We build data with our hands.
Sample Workshop Modules.
We Weigh Our Shoes! Children group their shoes by characteristics. We create a living Bar Chart, learning about categorization and counting.
The Highest Jump Action We mark our jumping height on the wall. We compare results, deciding how to distinguish the record holder (Data Comparison).
Who is Who? Children answer questions by moving to specific areas (Venn Diagrams in real life). We learn that data is information about us.
Not Just Counting Critical Thinking.
Logical Thinking: Active pattern seeking and sorting.
Curiosity: The courage to ask questions and hypothesize.
Communication Skills: Explaining "what I see" to others.
Foundations for the Future: Building competence in a data-driven world.
Collaboration
Bring Data Literacy to Your Child's World.
